Wifi Link 5300 Wireless Adapter, iwh, "pciex8086,4236"

I have a new Thinkpad R500 for which iwh does not work. The Wifi Link 5300 Wireless Adapter shows up as "pciex8086,4236" rather than "pciex8086,4235". Using update_drv will make the driver attach but connections seem to hang.

Hi Dave,
Now iwh driver can support Intel WiFi Link 5100 with device id 4232,
5300 with device id 4235, 5350 with device id 423a. But 5100 with device
id 4237, 5300 with device id 4236 has something different, and we are
working on it. Any process, we will let you know. Thanks.

For 5350 with device id 423a, did you make full test including stress test on iwh driver?

I have done function test, and it works well. Before official
release(update iwh package alias & putback), full test will be done.

Does 5300 wireless card are supported in OpenSolaris 2008.11 out of the box or I will need tweaking?

For OpenSolaris 2008.11, iwh driver supports 5100 with device id
"pciex8086,4232" and 5300 with device id "pciex8086,4235". If your
wifi's device id is "pciex8086,4236", you need to run command `update -a
-i "pciex8086,4236" iwh`, then iwh driver will work.
