  1. Complete the SCA - Sun Contributors Agreement.

    You need to complete the SCA before you contribute content under OpenSolaris.

  2. Decide which pages that you want to translate.

  3. Notify everyone that you are starting translation by sending an electronic mail message to the ha dash clusters dash discuss at opensolaris dot org alias.

  4. Start translating.

    When you translate, keep the following guidelines in mind:

    • If you have questions about style, use this Style Guide.

    • Use UTF-8 encoding.

    • Use the glossary tool SunGloss.

    • Add the last modified date at the bottom of the translated page.

  5. When you're finished translating a page or a set of pages, notify and send the translated page or pages to the alias to get comments.

About TM (Translation Memory) Tools
