onnv heads-up for non-onnv file systemsDate: Sat, 22 Mar 2008 09:03:05 -0600 From: Bob Mastors <bob.mastors at sun dot com> To: on-all at eng dot sun dot com, onnv-gate at onnv dot eng dot sun dot com Subject: onnv heads-up for non-onnv file systems You should ignore this email unless you use file systems that are built outside of onnv. My recent putback for: PSARC/2008/053 64 bit offsets for VOP_DUMP 6674476 VOP_DUMP is not 64 bit clean is a VOP interface change. Mainly changed VOP_DUMP and related interfaces to use "offset_t" instead of "int". External/third party file systems will need to be recompiled due to a version number change on the file system interface. External/third party file systems may need to be modified due to an interface change to VOP_DUMP and VOP_DUMPCTL. Bob -- Bob Mastors Office extension: 52095 Office direct dial: +1 720 548 4355 |
