About Speaker: Bob Netherton is a Principal Engineer in the Sun Microsystems Solaris Adoption Practice, specializing in virtualization, open source and Linux interoperability. He is one of the the architects and content developers of the successful Solaris Boot Camp and Deep Dive seminar series. In addition he has developed several best practice guides for Solaris as well as an advanced Solaris training curriculum. Bob is also involved in several Open Solaris User's Groups in the Midwest and Southwest United States. Prior to joining Sun in 1992, Bob has managed various open and proprietary systems and developed realtime software. Bob is a regular blogger on Solaris, virtualization, and open source technologies.
