Test Farm

The OpenSolaris Test Farm allows OpenSolaris Contributors to test their code on various system types prior to integration into the OpenSolaris code base.

The OpenSolaris Test Farm contributors include members of the Sun Solaris QE and Solaris Labs organizations, and ongoing operations are managed by Solaris Labs.

We plan to officially launch the Test Farm soon... In the meantime, if you need a test machine and are working on an OpenSolaris bug and meet the Access Requirements (below) send a request to the Testing Discussion List. Include "Need Test Machine" in the subject and indicate the type of machine you need in the message body.

Access Requirements

You will need the following to reserve test farm machines:

1. OpenSolaris User Name
2. Contributor Number (OSNNNN)
3. Bug or Project you are testing
4. Accept OpenSolaris Test Farm Terms and Conditions
