PROJECT DESCRIPTION

JFS is a 64-bit journaling filesystem that in first time was implemented in AIX and later in eComStation, OS/2 and Linux.

JFS has lot of features like dynamic inode allocation, extents and b+-tree

GOALS

The JFS project aims to add support for JFS in OpenSolaris to mantain compatibility with AIX and Linux Operation Systems.

STATUS

Working in read-only support

Finally i installed the Solaris in my notebook lenov 3000 n200. The big problem was with the acpi that dont work correctly in non windows OS’s. But right now everything is working.
