OpenSolaris Project: Country PortalsView the leaders for this projectProject Observers Endorsing communitiesAdvocacyInternationalization and Localization Welcome to the OpenSolaris Portals ProjectHaving opensolaris.org content written in multiple languages is critical for engaging developers and users in non English-speaking countries. That's what this project is all about -- translating the OpenSolaris website into many languages. See the discussions page for further background.
The OpenSolaris
engineering team has provided opensolaris.org templates to a limited
number of community portal teams. The portals are basically temporary
project
spaces on opensolaris.org altered to look like the main site but
within top level country domains. The point here is to create
multilingual sites within the main English site to provide
non-English developers an entrance into OpenSolaris in their own
language. Over time, the portals will grow to include as much local
material as is required to support a given community within the meta
OpenSolaris community. Proposing New Portals
